The lunch shift at work today was slow….
Luckily the lack of tips was out weighed by the yummy treats my manager brought in.
Kay surprised us with gorg and roasted pecan cheese cake with homemade bread, pear and apple slices on the side. It was fabulous. I ate three slices of bread, three tablespoons of cheese, and three pear slices.
The snack held me through the rest of my shift and grocery run.
When I came home I fixed a veggie burger and a handful of baked kettle BBQ chips.
I follow the blogĀ Sweettoothsweetlife. While reading her post Friday morning I decided to jump on the June 30 day yoga challenge. I love yoga so much. It makes me feel strong and in touch with my body. Before my car accident in January I practiced it weekly. The car accident left me with pain in my neck and lower back. After months of therapy I finally feel strong enough to start over. The challenge could not of come at a better time.
I know I am no where near ready to attend a studio class. I plan to use this month to strengthen my arm and neck muscles so next month I can attend a hot yoga class. After searching through our dvds I located the yoga workout videos I have collected over the years.
After my lunch I put YOGALOSOPHY into the DVD player. I received this DVD for my birthday last year and this was my first experience using it. I love it! It contained more repetition and pulsing than I remember yoga using but I love the way I could feel all my muscles after I finished. I will use this video again!

Welcome to the challenge! So glad to have you joining in
Thank you! It has only been two days and my muscles already feel better. I can’t wait to see how I feel at the end of the month.
